Introducing St Augustine's Confections
You may not have known this about me, but I love picking berries, making and canning preserves, and sharing them with friends! At our wedding, Laura and I served cupcakes topped with hand-picked blackberries from her family's garden. Later that year, bramble berries were fruiting right as we got to St Andrews in Scotland, and I collected enough for almost ten jars to make preserves for our new friends. Upon our return, the mulberry tree around the corner from our house in Durham began shedding its fruit, so I preserved several jars worth.Well now I’m making it official and having a go at sharing my love for all things sweet and all things theological. Can you spot all the 'easter eggs' in the logo I made?
St Augustine's Confections is the name I'm giving my hobby of creating sweet stuff to share with friends. Today I branched out from berries and made some Rosemary Syrup with rosemary from a neighbor's garden. I have six small bottles to share. Can I convince you to try either the Rosemary Syrup OR Mulberry Preserves and give me some feedback? You might try putting the syrup on waffles or in coffee...
Your feedback will help St Augustine's Confections grow and improve, but more importantly, it will make me happy to know I've sweetened your day. The variety of Confections will only expand, and these are only the "firstlings" of a larger dream I have that Laura and I hope to share with you soon.Fill out the form below and I’ll give you a Confection, then I'll follow up for feedback.[contact-form subject="Send me a Confection!"][contact-field label="Name" type="name" required="1" /][contact-field label="Email" type="email" required="1" /][contact-field label="Address" type="textarea" required="1" /][/contact-form]
