Hanging out with Leah and Mom has been good for my soul. It helps to be able to be myself a bit, with people I can totally immerse myself in. I miss out on that in Hawaii, I have always felt so transient there. Not knowing Portland, I’m left to rely on others (Leah) for entertainment, but that too is good for me. Because I don’t have a routine, I’m more free to be in the moment, it’s been really refreshing.

The flip side of that is that I don’t put enough time aside to doing my applications. I think things will work out though.
