Just got to LAX. This morning was fun, walking at Crystal Cove with my mom in the early AM. No fog, which was a bummer, but the surf was up. At the cove, this means shorebreak that is fun to watch. When I got home (before leaving for LAX) mom had written me a letter, as I had for her. Now that I think about it, I did that for all the women in our family…

The letter was very thoughtful and will certainly will bring tears later, when I read it again. For now, I endure this annoying heartburn, read, and wait.
