About to board AF 3886 to Amman. Battled heartburn and bowels most of the flight to Paris (CDG), but I got great sleep (up to 4 hours). Reread Mom’s letter before the LAX flight, really encouraging.

At CDG, there was free PS3 games, but few men’s restrooms. Hurried around, forgot my munchies and finally boarded. Started reading Kathy’s book, will surely be heart wrenching. Now ready to settle into the last 4.5 hours and meet the team. Best I have felt for a few days, don’t understand why though…
